Ingredients:

  • 8oz fresh mozzarella ciliengine cheese balls

  • 24 cherry tomatoes

  • 0.5oz fresh basil leaves

  • 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning

  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

  • Pinch of kosher salt

  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar


Directions:

  1. Begin making balsamic glaze: In a small saucepan or skillet, bring balsamic vinegar to a low simmer until vinegar thickens into syrupy glaze. Set aside to cool while completing the other steps


  2. In a small bowl, add fresh mozzarella balls, olive oil, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes, and a pinch of kosher salt. Stir until mozzarella balls are evenly coated with oil and spices.


  3. Assemble skewers by layering a cherry tomato, basil leaf, marinated mozzarella ball, another basil leaf, and another cherry tomato. Place on your serving platter.


  4. Drizzle skewers with balsamic glaze and refrigerate until ready to serve
